Growth & Commercial Strategy

Revenue is a series of human decisions. We find them, measure them and design for them.

Overview

Why the people lens matters here.

Every commercial number is the sum of decisions people make: a buyer agreeing to a second meeting, a relationship manager introducing a colleague, a customer renewing instead of drifting away. Most growth plans treat those decisions as volume to be pushed. Our growth and commercial strategy work treats them as behavior to be understood, because behavior can be observed, predicted and improved with far more precision than a forecast built on last year's averages.

We bring behavioral science, process design and data analysis to the moments where revenue is won or lost. That means mapping how deals actually move through a firm, testing which messages change minds, and defining the leading indicators that tell a leadership team whether a strategy is working before the quarter closes. The same lens serves investors, who need to know whether a company's customers and leaders will behave the way the investment thesis assumes.

Our perspective is shaped by practice as much as theory. We have mapped cross-sell processes in commercial real estate capital markets, researched the gap between an industry's real benefits and public perception, and founded and scaled software companies of our own. We know what it takes to turn insight into a pipeline that moves, a product people adopt and a customer base that stays.

Focus areas

What we focus on.

01

Decisions, not funnels

A funnel describes volume. It rarely explains why a prospect stalls between stages or why a referral never happens. We study the specific decision at each stage, who makes it, what they need to believe and what friction stands in the way, so growth strategy addresses causes rather than symptoms.

02

Leading indicators of revenue

Bookings and churn arrive too late to steer by. Using Behavioral Signals Design, we identify the earlier behaviors that predict commercial outcomes, such as handoff speed, multi-product engagement or onboarding milestones, and turn them into predictive KPIs that leaders can manage week to week.

03

Growth that respects people

Persuasion works best when it helps customers do what they already want to do. We design offers, messages and processes that reduce confusion and build trust, and we avoid tactics that win a transaction while eroding the relationship. Durable revenue and ethical practice point in the same direction.
